Thanks to Able Search program you can block some of the items on web pages to accelerate loading, or facilitate your work. After selecting Internet tools  Tools -> Options -> Multimedia Filtering select the options that you like:

multimedia blocking

Block images
Block flash animations - both the Adobe / Macromedia Flash and Shockwave / Authorware,
Block audio files
Block video

Options that you choose will ALWAYS take effect in Internet Explorer. If you want to enable or disable temporarily for example images, ONLY IN ONE browser window, click web page Page Tools and select the appropriate options (Block Images, Block Flash animations, etc.)

To show web pages faster, Internet Explorer saves most of downloaded files in a disk cache. If you enable
Show elements already downloaded to browser cache
Able Search program blocks only downloading of new files from the Internet. However, all the files that are already present in the cache are displayed. This allows to get fast page loading and also some pictures will be displayed to make navigation easier.

On the Always allow list you can add exceptions - addresses where multimedia are not blocked. E.g.
http://www.abc.xyz/*  will allow to download all elements with address starting from http://www.abc.xyz/
*my_image* will allow all addresses containing my_image text.
You can set change elements on lists, add add and delete remove filter patterns.

To save a list and e.g. send it to friends, click on the save Save button.

You can also open  import the list (add new elements) from a text file, containing one pattern in each line, e.g.:
http://www.abc.xyz/*
*my_image*
*ok.gif

Some Flash animations are not compatible with the standards and resemble other files. They cannot be identified because another kind of content could be blocked - e.g. a video.

When the server is not working fast enough, some items may not be blocked to avoid slowing down page loading. However, there are extremely rare cases.

To find items downloaded and blocked on a page, click in Internet Explorer web page Page Tools -> Files in Page or icon downloaded elements or blocked elements in the status bar of the browser.
