Able Search program helps to protect against threats on the Internet (known as phishing and malware) - websites serving dangerous viruses, spyware, stealing passwords, credit card numbers, bank account data, etc.

To do this, enable Check visited URLs in online phishing database. Each page opened in Internet Explorer will be checked in the Internet anti-phishing database. It may slow down the Internet a bit, but it is worth to be safer.

In the Trusted Domains list you can add addresses of secure pages that you often visit. They will not be tested in anti-phishing database, what will speed up Internet Explorer activity.

In order to add a domain, write it into the edit field and click  Add button. You can change an address with button or remove selected elements.

You can also import a list (add new items) from a text file, containing a single domain in each line.

To save the list and for example send it to your friends, click Save.

Beside there are Dangerous Domains and Suspicious Countries. When a server which you visit is placed in one of these countries or in the "black list" of domains, Able Search will show a warning and the address bar will change color to yellow or red, and the font to bold. This makes it easy to find that you should pay more attention.
You can also add domains to this list, change and delete them, save the entire list or import it from a text file.

Mark also Download periodically list of dangerous malware sites. Able Search program downloads from time to time a list of thousands of domains, which are classified as hazardous. To view this list, click

Show country flag in the status bar - To increase security, Able Search can display in the Internet Explorer's status bar (the lower part of the browser window) a flag of the country where the server that you visit is placed. Most servers are located in a corresponding country (e.g. servers for the German public are in Germany), although sometimes companies buy web hosting in other countries.

Able Search also displays information about the site when the mouse pointer is placed over the address field.

Check SSL certificates - Able Search shows in the Internet Explorer's address bar information about the SSL certificate for the site. When a server has a false or defective certificate, Able Search will notify you and show icon in the address bar.

Show warning about expired (or not valid yet) certificates - each SSL certificate includes a period of validity. Sometimes companies forget to update it and then you will be informed about it, but usually incorrect date is not “dangerous”.

Able Search gives you a unique opportunity to instantly hide all windows of Internet Explorer. Just click  button on Able Search toolbar.

Show alert, when Internet Explorer is hidden - select this option if you want to see a short note in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Hide AbleSearch Manager - download manager will also be hidden.

Pause media player - if you listen to the music or watch a movie in Winamp or Windows Media Player, it will be paused.

Mute Sound - you can completely turn off the sound, what sometimes is useful when watching a movie or listening to the music, for example on a web page.

Hide other applications using AbleHide - If you have installed our free software AbleHide, you can hide almost every Windows program.
