You do not see the Search Able toolbar after Internet Explorer starts.
Click in the browser’s menu: View - Toolbars - Able Search.

In Windows Vista, you cannot open some pages in the browser or download some files.
Vista is "improved" software, which limits the number of simultaneous network connections and improves DNS. We recommend to increase Internet speed and reduce the number of simultaneously downloaded files and threads. You can also sometimes reset the network connection. To do this, right-click the network connection icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of the screen) and select Diagnose and repair.

When you enable anonymous surfing files are downloaded slower.
TOR network provides anonymous encrypted connections. However, they are usually a bit slower. In Internet Explorer you can for example disable Flash animations or images. In AbleSearch Manager set one thread for each file and a bigger timeout.

Files from some servers download incorrectly in AbleSearch Manager.
Some servers do not allow simultaneous connections and resuming broken downloads. If you get errors downloading a file, try to download it in one piece - with a single thread. If errors still occur, delete the file from the disk and start downloading from the beginning. Do not stop and try to download the whole file at one time.

Able Search Manager does not download files.
Sometimes a program is blocked by the Windows (or other) firewall. If this happens, click in AbleSearch Manager: Options and then Program Reset button.

The category tree is not visible on search and bookmarks pages.
If you click search engines Search  or Internet bookmarks Bookmarks  and you do not see a category list:
you should enable JavaScript and Active Content. Select from Internet Explorer's main menu Tools -> Internet Options -> Security, click Custom Level, scroll down, check Active scripting - Enable and click OK. Then go to Advanced tab, scroll down to Security, check Allow active content to run in files on My Computer and click OK.
