Able Search helps to stay anonymous on the Internet. Thanks to it, nobody is able to detect what pages you visit or what files you download.

 Surf anonymously using TOR network - enables anonymous encrypted connection (via TOR network) in Internet Explorer. This command is also available in the Able Search toolbar .

To download files anonymously with AbleSearch Manager program, click in its main window  Options and on the Downloads tab select Anonymous downloads using TOR network.

Tor location - enter, where the TOR program is on your hard drive (usually C:\\Program Files\\Tor\\tor.exe). If you have not installed it yet, click on the blue label Tor location and download the latest version from the Internet.

Hide TOR window - TOR messages generally are not useful. If you have troubles with connections, you can show Tor window and read its messages. Just click in Internet Explorer  Protect your privacy -> Show Tor Window.

Terminate TOR on exit - TOR program will be terminated when you close your browser and finish downloads in AbleSearch Manager.

Another way to protect privacy on the network is a proxy server. SOME of them may act similarly as the TOR network and guarantee anonymity on the Internet. Able Search program can quickly and easily enable proxy servers in Internet Explorer: just click  Protect your privacy ->  Use Proxy Server.

You can add servers to the list by typing their address and clicking . You can change the address with button or delete with .

If you have a list of proxy servers saved to a text file (1 line = 1 address), you can easily import it, clicking  Load proxy list.
You can also save your list and send it to your friends.

To check the speed of proxy servers, click  Ping proxy servers. In the list, the PING column shows response time of a server. The shorter this time is, the server is probably faster and worth to use.

Any program, including Internet Explorer, connecting to HTTP servers, sends its own identification - so-called User Agent. These data allow a server to identify the client program (browser). In most cases it has no meaning for us. But sometimes it is worth and even necessary, to change the value of the User Agent.

Able Search program enables setting of User Agent header. You can select from predefined values:

You can also add your own User Agent values with button, delete or change them.

When you change the User Agent, you must restart Internet Explorer.
