Able Search offers a useful feature - you can view all files embedded in a web page: images, Flash animations, scripts, CSS sheets, ActiveX objects, Java applets, etc. Thanks to it, you can check if a page does not contain any dangerous or suspicious elements and does not send somewhere your private data, etc. You can also easily copy for example an image from the browser cache, check its location, size, etc.

Thanks to the media filtering and content blocking Able Search can prevent dangerous or unwanted elements - they are even not downloaded by Internet Explorer.

After opening a page in your browser, click the downloaded elements or blocked elements  image located in the status bar, or web page Page tools -> Files in Page. A dialog appears, containing detailed information about elements in the page. There is the URL address at the top and, optionally, HTTP POST data. So you can easily view information sent to the server.
web page elements

Select one from three lists:
Downloaded Elements - contains all the files that a web page received from the Internet.
Blocked Elements - files that have been disabled by the Able Search program through media filtering and content blocking.
Suspicious Elements - items that have been downloaded by Internet Explorer, but in such a way, that it cannot be determined by which web page. These elements usually are not dangerous.

There is the number of dangerous files shown at the bottom. Able Search increases your security on the Internet, checking pages for phishing attacks, dangerous domains and countries. When an item is suspected, a warning triangle dangerous element appears on the list. You can also test each file for viruses with remove viruses buttons.

On each list, you have full address of the element, the domain from which the file comes, the type, size and disk location, if the file has been saved in the browser cache. When you expand the Preview, you can see a file or its content. You can select text mode, binary, hexadecimal (HEX), as an image (if the file is an image) and as a Web page.

To make easier searching for certain addresses, you can expand the Filter tab.

If you find a dangerous item, you can block it by clicking dangerous element button. If you enable in the Able Search content blocking, a blocked element will never be downloaded from the Internet again.

When on the Blocked Elements list you find a file that should be always downloaded and displayed, click dangerous element Unblock this element.

refresh web elements Refresh unknown information button allows you to check the type, size and the web address of files, if these data do not appear on the list. So you can get accurate information about all files downloaded by a page, to check the presence of viruses, phishing or other dangers in case of any suspicion.
check phishing Check selected item for phishing retrieves information from an online database. It makes no sense to check some files such as images. In case of a suspicion, you can at first check web pages (HTML, PHP, ASP, etc.), which can be included as a frame (FRAME, IFRAME) in the main page. Other potentially hazardous elements are JavaScript (JS files), style sheets (CSS), ActiveX controls, Java applets and Flash animations. However it is better to check viruses check them for viruses.

report phishing  Report suspicious page - if you find anything wrong, you can submit the page to online anti-phishing database.
If you do not see any elements on the list, you have installed an buggy add-on for Internet Explorer.
