AbleSearch Manager is a fast and easy download manager. Using it is much easier and much faster than downloading in Internet Explorer, especially for large files.

AbleSearch Manager allows you to resume interrupted downloads. Many times you certainly downloaded an important file with the browser for half an hour, and an error occurred at the end, and you had to start everything from the beginning. Our download manager automatically resumes broken connections and downloads only the missing part of a file. When necessary, you can stop downloading and resume it later. Currently almost all HTTP and FTP servers allow to get only the missing part of a file, without downloading it from the beginning.

Each file can be divided into several parts, which are retrieved simultaneously. This can speed up downloads even by several hundred percent, especially if you have a fast Internet connection.

Our program can also optimize your network connection to work faster with all programs. To do this, click in Able Search  Tools -> Increase Internet Speed.

Able Search Manager can automatically download certain files (e.g. ZIP, RAR), when you click on a link in your browser, or copy an address to the clipboard. We recommend to enable Monitor clicks in browser and Monitor clipboard. If you want to download a single file using Internet Explorer, just hold down the Alt key and click on a link.

Get HTTP Referrer from browser. Some HTTP servers require the source address - address of the page where you download a file. Servers may forbid downloading, when the HTTP referrer value is blank or incorrect. Able Search can automatically get the source address from Internet Explorer.

Automatically download files - there are file name patterns on the list, that should be downloaded automatically by AbleSearch Manager. You can use wildcard characters * and ? in patterns, such as:

*.exe

means any file ending with "exe" (e.g., setup.exe), and

*.r0?

means any file that ends with '.r0' + one character, e.g.

archive.r01, archive.r02, archive.r0x etc.

You can add your own file name patterns - just type them in the edit field and click  Add. Set button changes the selected item on the list, Delete button removes selected patterns.

A mask is active, when is checked  on the list.

Files that do not match any pattern will be downloaded by Internet Explorer.
