Able Search program allows you to easily configure some hidden features of Internet Explorer, and adds additional capabilities to the browser.

Enable "Quick Find" - as you type - This option speeds up the search for text on a web page. Just start typing on the keyboard - no need to choose menu commands or press Ctrl + F. Typed text appears in the search box (in the lower left corner of the Able Search toolbar). You can easily  select on the page all places, where search phrase is placed or move to another place with buttons .

Focus search field with Ctrl+F) - instead of the standard search dialogue, Ctrl-F activates convenient and more powerful text search on Able Search toolbar.

You can choose the highlight color for searched text with Find on page - Highlight color - you can change both the font color and the background.
Fast Link Preview - When the mouse cursor is over a hyperlink, Able Search displays next to the link picture. Just click on it to instantly preview the web page where the link leads. You do not need to leave the current page or tab.

Speed dial is an easy access to frequently visited sites. Instead of one startup page, you can remember nine favorite sites and open them quickly. Additionally, on the Speed dial you have searching,  interesting pages and browsing history.

To open the Speed dial simply click . Able Search can also automatically show it on:

about:blank and about:home - default blank pages in Internet Explorer,

about:tabs - empty tab (Internet Explorer 7 and 8),

Empty page - without any specified address.

Open links in new window with middle mouse button - This allows you to simply click the middle mouse button on a hyperlink to open it in a new window or a new tab. You can continue reading a web page and then view opened links. In newer versions of Internet Explorer, this functionality is available and active by default. In older versions you can turn this function on, thanks to Able Search program.

Refresh pages after connection error - browser sometimes cannot connect to a server and displays the message:

In this case, Able Search automatically refreshes the page. Typically, the second time the page loads correctly. If not, we recommend that you optimize your Internet connection.
Especially Windows Vista is vulnerable to connection errors and you cannot open a page more frequently.

If you cannot connect, and you want to read a web page, click on Able Search  Open location -> Historic Version of the Page or Google Cache.

Finally you can try to repair the network connection - right-click the connection icon (in the lower right corner of the screen) and select Repair.

Enable RSS feed discovery - Internet Explorer automatically downloads news from RSS feeds you have subscribed to. If you do not use this feature, disable it, because it slows down other connections.

Check for updates of Internet Explorer - browser will check for available updates.

Enable Find Files via F3 - when you press F3, the standard Find files dialog is shown.

Disable runonce.msn.com - sometimes after installing updates, Internet Explorer always opens runonce.msn.com after start, and it can be annoying.

To apply some of the changes, you must restart the browser.
