Probably you often had to leave a running computer for a longer period, when you for example downloaded files, recorded a DVD or made long calculations. Later you have to remember to turn it off, sometimes you forget about it or you must ask someone for a favor.

Able Search Manager can automatically shut down your computer at a specific time, when downloading from the Internet finishes or when other programs end their work.

Turn Off - all programs are closed, and the computer is completely off.
Hibernate - Windows goes into hibernation - completely turns off your computer. However, after restart, all programs will work in the same state, as just before hibernation. During hibernation you can safely power off your computer.
Standby - Windows suspends the operation of programs and turns off the monitor, but the computer still works, taking less energy. Restart takes only a few seconds, much faster than hibernation. During standby, the computer cannot be powered off, since all the data of running programs will be lost.
Log Off - current Windows user is logged out and running programs are closed.
Restart - all programs are closed and the computer restarted.
Some options are not available on some computers - for example, standby depends on your hardware - motherboard type and functions that it offers.
Then select the moment when the computer should be shut down:
- when all downloads will be finished by Able Search Manager,
- at specific time - determine the date and time,
- when processor usage will be below X % for more than Y minutes. This option allows you to turn off the computer, when other programs finish their work. Below you can watch the current CPU usage in percents. When you for example compress a large number of files with 7-ZIP program, look at the CPU usage. When 7-ZIP finishes, the CPU usage drops to about 3-5%. Able Search Manager can detect that file compression has finished and turn off the computer.
Warning will be shown 1 minute before - Able Search Manager will show a warning one minute before shutting down your computer, so you may cancel it.
To remind you of a scheduled shutdown, the system tray icon appears . When you click it, you can change options or cancel the automatic shutdown.
