Importing tasks from a text file

[Previous] [Main] [Next]

AbleGet allows you to import tasks described in a text file. One line in the text should contain description of one task. You can write down some important things any time you want and then AbleGet can easy do the job for you. if you want to:
- download a file - note in the text file the Web address,
- upload a file - put the full path and filename in one line,
- search for MP3 - note the author and/or title of the song/album,
- search for a file - write it's name in a line of text.

For example a text file can look like this:

www.AbleGet.com/download/update.zip
My best singer her last hit
c:\My documents\forJohn.doc
ableget.zip

Then choose from the menu Running - Load file list... and open an text file. A dialog is shown and you can see on the list available tasks.

Type - the type of a task guessed by AbleGet. If you want to modify it, click on download, file search or MP3 search and press Set button. You can also Delete a task.

Name - a short description of the task.

Uncheck items which you don't want to load and click OK button. ONLY checked tasks are loaded.
