Maximal number of simultaneous connections
- how many connections AbleGet can make at the same time. On fast computers with fast Internet connection you can use high values (e.g. 30) but when you have slower computer or normal modem connection (e.g. 56 kbps) you should set this value to about 10.

Ping connections when necessary - some servers slow down transfer and even break the connection. AbleGet can ping a server when it's necessary (send small amount of data) and it usually increases transfer speed and does not allow to close the connection.

Connecting to a server
Timeout - connecting to a server - set it to 60 - 120 seconds. Fast servers should respond in 10 - 30 seconds, but sometimes logging takes more time.

Retry to connect to the up to... times, after delaying... seconds - if you really want to download a file set retry count to a high value, but remember that it takes time and sometimes does not give a result (e.g. a server is very busy)!

Transfer errors
Timeout - no data transmitted on resuming servers - set it to 180 - 300 seconds. When a server does not support resuming broken download and there are no alternate addresses for a download, then after a transfer error AbleGet must restart the downoad from the beginning.

on servers without resuming broken connections - you can use lower value (60 - 120 s) but setting it below 60 seconds usually does not increase performance.

Retry up to... times, after delaying... seconds - if you really want to download a file set retry count to a high value, but remember that it takes time and sometimes does not give a result (e.g. a server is very busy or very slow)!
