MP3 files sometimes are damaged – you can hear clicks and pops. Most of these errors can be repaired. To check an MP3 or repair it AbleBurn uses Mp3check and Lame. Lame is usually better in fixing bad files, but it causes quality loss (MP3 are recompressed). After buying a MP3 license AbleBurn will apply better repairing method. Please support us (MP3 patent is quite expensive).

Select from menu Tools – Repair / Check MP3 and drop MP3 files on the list. Output directory for storing fixed files can be set from main menu Tools – Options – MP3. Click button and then select Only check and show errors or Repair (original files will be kept). As repair method first try MP3Check and listen to fixed files. If you can still hear sound errors delete repaired files and try again using Lame. If it doesn't' t help – wait for AbleBurn with built-in MP3 support.
