Write CD-Text - CD-Text can be used to record tracks' titles or other information. Of course your recorder and CD player must support writing / reading CD-Text. Convert CD text to upper case – Most CD players display correctly only capital letters, so this option is recommended.
Ripping Output folder – directory where copied files will be stored. There should be enough free space on disk – one audio CD in uncompressed form (WAV) occupies about 700 MB. Normalize using mode – audio albums often are recorded with different volume levels. To make song loudness more equal normalization could be applied. All songs from the same album – songs from the same CD can be louder and silent. This option keeps volume differences. All files must be first saved (ripped) on your disk. Songs from different albums – use this option to equalize volume. Don't use it during ripping an audio CD. All files must be first saved (ripped) on your disk. Use max level instead of RMS – all songs are normalized to maximal available level. Files are ripped and normalize one by one.
Compress to MP3 – set this option to compress WAV files to MP3. Compression method can be set in Options – MP3 tab. Otherwise all files will be stored on disk in uncompressed WAV format. Delete WAV files after compression – to save disk space WAV files can be deleted after making MP3.
