Before recording an audio CD normalization should be applied on waves coming from different sources (albums). Otherwise their volume can be different. Currently AbleBurn uses Normalize, but in the near future AbleBurn will apply built-in WAV normalization with adjustable level and more options.

Select from menu Tools – Normalize WAV and drop WAV files on the list. All files WILL BE CHANGED (normalized). Click button to and then select normalization method:

All songs from the same album – songs from the same CD can be louder and silent. This option keeps volume differences.

Songs from different albums – use this option to equalize sound volume.

Use max level instead of RMS – all songs are normalized to maximal available level.
