When you want to record an audio disc from MP3 files you should first decompress them. Currently AbleBurn uses external decompressor – Lame – due to patent issues. Full internal MP3 support is planned (please support) e.g. recording audio CDs directly from MP3, better MP3 repairing and decompression.

Select from menu Tools – Decompress MP3 and drop MP3 files on the list. Output directory for storing WAV files can be set from main menu Tools – Options – MP3. Click button to start decompression.
